My welcome email has been outdated and probably didn’t give you much information about what I aim to do here, so I wanted to quickly introduce myself and this blog.
My name is Allie Sullberg, and I’m an artist, writer, and illustrator based in San Francisco. My illustrations appear regularly in The New York Times, and I've had the pleasure of working with a range of clients including The New Yorker, The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The ACLU, and Netflix.
The Museum of Small and Important Things is about the joy of being present and noticing our inner and outer worlds, and finding creative ways of documenting and processing those worlds. These practices are designed as intentional antidotes to the disconnection fueled by passive material and digital consumption.
