Hey, it’s been a few weeks. I didn’t feel like being inside, at a computer, writing. I figured you’d be cool with that. When I make things, I spend a lot of time thinking about what I’m making. This time with thoughts and materials gives me something to write about.
There are weeks when I can’t imagine sitting still and staring at a computer screen, and there are other weeks when it’s exactly what I want to do. I try my best to be ready and available to ride waves of inspiration when they come. This past week, I was house sitting for my aunts Tracy and Dana (they subscribe to this newsletter, hi Tracy and Dana!) who live in Carmel, so I brought along all of my art supplies and tuned my time into a mini art-residency.
