I used to do a roundup of all the podcasts i listened to in a week that moved me in some way for my family email chain. It was such a great reflection and aide memoire for what was good that week.
Weirdly, every single one of my friends seems to be getting into chess at the same time! Definitely a fun hobby... if I decide to make that My Thing for the next year of my life I'll make a chess dot com account and play you :'D
okay first, i obviously love this format! there's something about the brain (or maybe just my brain) that seems to just love functioning in a list format. second, i think i would be ugly and extremely smart because i think being interesting and intelligent is far more important than hotness and is in itself a kind of hotness. also, i don't think i've ever thought of a human person as ugly (in looks at least, there are some ugly spirits out there), so that seems somewhat unimportant? or at least not something i put a lot of stock in - you can be funny-looking but dress beautifully or have great eyes. either way, i love this question a lot!
