I made a small museum in my bathroom


I wrote the above a few months ago. Or at least I wish it was a few months ago. It was a year ago. If you’re struggling to read it, I don’t blame you. I need to replace the ribbon on my typewriter. It says:
“TO LIVE A WHIMSICAL LIFE. Perhaps, to live a whimsical life is to put an unnecessary amount of time, effort, care, and intentionality into making the ordinary extraordinary. This requires high attention to detail and an extra exertion of effort on the creator’s behalf. Indeed this means that the whimsical must be created, either by the beholder or the creator. One may behold the whimsical where others may not- it is a matter of perspective. One may curate the whimsical by adding or removing an object, experience, or setting. For some, this curation is a natural inclination. For others, curation of the whimsical must be practiced and obtained as a skill.
