Ahhh, I LOVE this poster! The colors, the shapes, the flowers. Exactly the kind of project i would love to make! It's beautiful.
Just like you, i love to create things for the people around me. I know they are small business owners who try their best to have fair prices and they would never dare to ask me anything. Sometimes I think of something they might need i just create it and tell them to use it if they want to but that they can also dismiss it if it doesn't fit their needs.
It's a really nice way to have creative freedom on a project and make your friends happy :) <3
I love this design and the big, juicy, curvy shapes. Great colors. I love the spirit or reciprocity with another creative person. That's a bummer to hear that a client sometimes doesn't even bother to acknowledge the work.
I love all of your poster art. The Max Cowan reminds me of the Fillmore, Avalon Ballroom and Winterland posters of the 60's. I will not be surprised if other musicians ask.
What an amazing experience! I have a relationship with my best friend where we do art trades—poems turn into songs, paintings turn into photography shoots—and it’s always felt like one of the most special parts of our friendship. Your words inspire me to build more similar connections with my community through gifting people with my work! Thank you <3
this is the power of community baby!! love to see it

love this, Allie! It was so fun to see how you go about creating the poster and also to read your thoughts on being paid, or not, for your work.
Allie, I love this! You're awesome.
Great poster!
